If you want the publication to meet all of the
criteria entered, use the AND operator between fields.
If you want it to meet any one or more of the
criteria, such as being written by a particular author or on a certain topic,
use the OR operator between fields.
To exclude criteria, such as format, use the NOT
operator.
The AND-OR-NOT operator you select for a box
determines how the search criteria in that box will be combined with criteria
already evaluated. Boxes are evaluated from top to bottom, first box to last.
